Last year, Okamiden producer Motohide Eshiro stated, " Hopefully they have a really good reaction to Okamiden on the DS and start clamouring for a sequel. Then if they ask for that sequel on the 3DS, well… we’ll see what we can do."
The purpose of this petition is to show Capcom the level of interest in a third installment of their brilliant Okami series as a Nintendo Wii U exclusive. The Wii U's versatile touch-screen controller would be the perfect input for the Celestial Brush, Okami's core gameplay mechanic, and witnessing the Yamato-e art style in full HD would be a breath of fresh air in a market bloated with photorealism. This game has always been the top of my list of games. It has made me enjoy the Japanese lore and the beauty of their art style at the time period. The music though really takes me away. I really hope they make a third one, this time maybe highlighting Amaterasu's Journey to the Celestial plain or a sequel to Okamiden.

Okami and Okamiden were two of my most favorite games! A sequel on the Wii U would both look astounding and also promote the celestial brush with the Gamepad. Come on, capcom!

I would love a sequel to okamiden on the wii u because it would look so much better on a system than on a handheld device. If it was on the 3Ds okami wouldn't get the justice it deserves as being one of my favorite story based and art based games
