Mitchell Young | Athletics are an essential part of an all-encompassing collegiate experience and abandoning the programs is one of the worst things a college can do.

Anonymous | Women's Lacrosse is an upcoming sport for so many young girls today. These girls are looking forward to their time in college to play this sport. Please don't do away with it.

| 272 | Craig Leon | There are actions that can be taken to make sure all three of these teams are kept, while meeting Title IX compliance. By limiting men's roster sizes, I have already come up with a way to keep us at the necessary 52% female, 48% male. Furthermore, roster limitations could save roughly $125,000, which more than pays for the Lacrosse budget of ($99,575). We can get this decision reversed!

George Sarmiento | The unilateral action taken by the administration in cutting these programs without including the athletes, coaches and alumni involved has hurt me deeply as a member of the Men's Track and Field Team. I hope that with clear, level-headed criticism and the support of the community and Bobcats around the nation we can right this wrong.
Amy Wells | Student athletes are incredibly important to the Athens and southeastern Ohiocommunity. Also, before cutting funding, please consider the impact on these students. I know many college students who can only attend because of scholarships and other funding (due to the constantly rising cost of higher education).

Anonymous | Cutting varsity sports without any warning not only hurts the athletes currently in college, but it ruins the hopes and plans of potential recruits already planning on being in college.

Don R. Lang | Please do not stop Women's Lacrosse, Men's Swimming and Diving and Men's Indoor/Outdoor Track. This could stop someone on the way to the olympics. We had a diver from OSU represent us in the olympics.
