Comments: The OGTs do not make much difference in graduation rate. You might as well keep the Proficiency Tests.

Comments: Dear whom ever this may concern: I have tried extremly hard just getting my credits alone to graduate, but knowing that it's point less upsets me. To know I have to remember so much and take one big test is stressful and dumb. Please get ride of this test. I have teachers and parents who agree that they have not taken this test and they have turned out wonderful. Why put us through this Just because some people don't try in school doesn't mean everyone does!

Comments: I think it is DUMB to not let a student graduate if they maintained the right grades to do so. Some kids just cant take these big tests and it isnt fair to hold them back.

Comments: I dont think you should need OGT to graduate. Its should be a class placement. Not fair for students who carry 2.0 or higher to not graduate because of this test

Comments: I think if you work hard enough you should be able to graduate high school with out a test to decide your fate.

Comments: I feel that either they are gonna allow the children to either have all the require credits or pass all the OGT test, this is to stressful on my children and on me. Or at least give them enough time to retake that test before graduation. It is not right to wait to the last minute tolet them know that they can't graduate.

Comments: I believe the OGT takes up so much classroon time that teachers can't really be teachers. The undue stress of the test placed on students is ridiculous. The students should pass highschool based on their report cards.

Comments: as a student this test is unfair. Been in school for 12 years. Gotten good grades, on time, good behavior. Then I cant pass the OGT math. I wont get a diploma if I dont pass.

Comments: The OGT is a waste of class time it makes students less intelligent by holding back those who are more advanced. It forces students to study only what the state wants them to and they don't learn the more important things they need to know, students should be focusing on the more important things, like the SAT and the ACT.

Comments: i am a parent of an 3.8 student shes having trouble passing the science ogt the scores arent close for her to pass. How do we really know if she passed the person grading the test could have a bad day and not grade right the extended response is the students opinion the person grading the test might not like thier answer. The ogts dont have nothing to do with there fate. The student doing all the work but no diploma isnt fair to them at all. concerned parent
