Comments: I feel that a off leash fenced dog park is the way to go here in Pacifica. We have so many dog that want to play safely but can't. This would be the greatest thing in Pacifica for dog owner and there pets.

Comments: The need for areas that responsible pet owners can use for the health and enjuoment of their pets are becoming far and few between. My dog has rights after all I pay a license fee for her and have to maintain shots, et all. As I pay highway taxes and ride my motorcycle on those roads, I also pay pet license taxes and expect to be able to walk my dog on city, county, and state property.

Comments: We are firtunate to have an enclosed Dog Park area where I live, and know of others in the East Bay ( terrific one located at Lake Del Valle in Livermore that has water access for the dogs to play in) that are a wonderful outlet for both owners and all breeds fo dogs to meet and play. I cannot encourage the residents of Pacifica to get behind this petition and provide the same for your residents and dog owners alike. This is a win/win situation for everyone (except maybe cats), but with all the dogs playing at the park, who has time to annoy the cats

Comments: I would be happy to pay a reasonable fee also to help with set up and maintenance. Also would help with cleanup days, bag supply as needed. We really need somewhere legal for the dogs to run.

Comments: We need an off leash dog park in Pacifica. I feel two parks would be fantastic. One at the North end and one at the South end of town. A dog park helps the dog get the excercise it needs. And also, it has been noted, dogs that are socialized, are happier dogs. And they're less likely to bite.

Comments: Having a local dog park is necessary. They create a sense of community and would probably keep our beaches cleaner and safer. When people get home from work and want to exercise their dog, the only option is to drive several miles. How nice it would be to have a park nearby.

Comments: As i support a dog park, it is completely second in preference to continuing to challenge the local laws for designated off leash areas in our open space, ie, Mori Pt. and surrounding beaches and hills. The issue of endangered species being further endangered by dogs and humans needs to be addressed as it is not a valid argument in my opinion. Mitigation solutions abound.

Comments: This will only work if dog owners are willing to clean up after their dogs. The embankment above the golf course is a terrible example of irresponsible dog owners. I do not want to bring my dog to an area that is covered in feces.
