Name: Aaron Gentry on Jul 27, 2007Comments: He got his life together, did what the NFL asked of him and gets canned again, while Joey Porter with the help of his freinds jumps a fellow NFL player an gets a fine that is hardly anything to what that he makes. No consictency. All I can say is Packman better not be able to ever get re-instated after the crimes he has commited which are alot worse than anything Thurman has ever done. All I can say is us Bengal fans will be watching the Vick case closely. I have a feeling that there will be many outraged Bengal fans in a few months when Vicks overrated ass is out there playing after getting out of everything he did. The scumbag did it, or at least allowed it to happen on his property so he's just as guilty. I'm sure he'll get special treatment.Flag

Name: Chris on Jul 27, 2007Comments: There are reasons behind every decision that is made. That is all WE as BENGAL FANS are looking for. It is one thing to say NO your can't play but it is another thing to say you can't play BECAUSE........Let people know the reasoning behind the maddness and the PRESSURE of the VICK case is not a GOOD reason.Flag

Name: Jeremy K on Jul 27, 2007Comments: Dear Commish: You need to make a statement and give logical reasons for declining his reinstatement. Start an executive order and have some standards. You cannot base punishments off of how good the player is or how much money he makes. Treat each player equally.Flag

Name: Michael R. Bell on Aug 9, 2007Comments: If he hasn't abided by all that is required for his already laid down 1 year suspension, then its news to us in the Bengal fan community. Its unfair to punish a team and group of fans without reason given for this second 1 year suspension. Bring on the proof of how you can justify this suspension Goodell.Flag

Name: Anonymous on Aug 11, 2007Comments: LET THE POOR YOUNG MAN PLAY! It just isn't fair for Goodell to make an example out of a guy who complied with all the requirements to be reinstated. Odell was finally turning the corner on his addictions and off-field issues. I don't see how another year of not playing with help the young man, it will only hurt him.Flag

You have many many many other players that continue to do worse crimes and they are aloud to play.... Mike Vick should never be aloud to play again but for some reason i can see you letting him back in a few years because he makes you moneyFlag

Name: Brian Hall on Aug 19, 2007Comments: I can't believe he has been suspended for ANOTHER season.. so what if he was late for a scheduled appt. I mean I've never been late or anything, or forgot, or WHATEVER!! But at least he wasn't at a night club in Tennessee, or killing dogs for fun in Atlanta, I mean, he was doing as he was told, never failed another test, did rehab, and then just because he caught GOD-AWEFUL-GODELL at a bad time, he has to continue to suffer for his previous actions. And I SWEAR, if MICHAEL VICK ISN'T BANNED FOR AT LEAST 3 YEARS FROM THE LEAGUE, I'M DONE WATCHING THE NFL!!! Vick makes the NFL lots of $, and hardly anybody knows of Odell Thurman. The commish had to make an example of someone, so why not a no-name from the Bengals, Just to add Fuel To the FIRE!! and the funny thing is that nobody on espn or whatever is talking about it. it's staying under the radar, which it shouldn't. it just goes to show how stupid these "professional reporters" are.. or they're just afraid to say anything that makes sense "on the air" for fear of actually getting a good message out there.
