Elizabeth LaBarre | chezlizze@yahoo.com | Ocean Ave Brewery provides an amazing and vital service to the community - great music, great food and great local people. Please do not take away my favorite form of entertainment. I can't stand sitting at a bar stool drinking the evening away without live music or dancing. Please support local artists and musicians and allow Ocean Brewery to continue what they do best. Laguna Beach is a community of art-loving folk including music and dancing.

Anonymous | Anonymous | These micro-breweries are established first and foremost for the residents - run by local brewers. They also draw in non-residents in the form of tourists who search out these locally run establishments. Tourists bring in $$ to the community and enjoy the music and atmosphere created by these breweries. They are written up in brew newspapers and people actually travel far to visit these locally run establishments. Why would a city want to close them for serving the community and drawing tourists. Maybe they haven't thought things through...maybe they just don't drink beer!
Lyndsey | ldkenefick@yahoo.com | KEEP THE BREWERY! My grand-parents who live in South Laguna love that place and so do I! Please keep it!

Anonymous | Anonymous | Ocean Avenue Brewery is a great local business which serves the interests of Laguna Beach residents and those visitors to the area. I have enjoyed it for years - the staff is professional and the patrons are upscale and friendly.
Graham Siderius | gsiderius@gmail.com | I am a resident of Aliso Viejo and I frequent Laguna Beach on occasions solely to visit Ocean Avenue Brewery. This provides tax revenue to the city of Laguna Beach that I would otherwise provide to my local town. I believe Ocean Brewery provides a great atmosphere for the 21-35 demographic that may not otherwise be entertained in your fine city. Thank you.

Ron Slimm | ronaldslimm@cox.net | The needs of the city are not met in a vacuum, if not for tourism, Laguna Beach would not have the popularity or revenue which it now enjoys. Perhaps the same requirements could be placed upon the Sawdust Festival, the Pageant of the Masters, the world renowened beaches, restaraunts and art galleries. There doesn't seem to be any complaints about the traffic congestion, crowed sidwalks or lack of parking that these attractions bring. These are the results of tourism which allow the city to operate and to fund projects for the residence of Laguna Beach. Laguna Beach has long been on the cutting edge, for example: the day labor pick up site, the dog park, the purchase of valuable wilderness areas. I would hate to imply this, but perhaps the city council is pushing an issue for a special interest that is threatened by, or wants some of the success displayed by the Ocean Ave Brewery. I am a resident of Dana Point and though I too enjoy the small town atmosphere, I understand the double sided blade that tourism brings. We have the same here with Hennesy's, a popular spot for locals and tourists. The big difference is that Dana Point doesn't have the Ocean Avenue Brewery with it's atmosphere, music or being in Laguna Beach.

Andrew Winer | andrew.winer@cox.net | I've been a homeowner for ten years, and I continue to rely on the entertainment (dancing & amplified music) provided by the Brewery, which showcases some of the finest acts locally. I bring my collegues and friends there.
