Dan Stafforddan@turkeyusa.comI am a Laguna Beach, born and raised artist/resident that happened to have a kidney transplant. With the help of my long time friend/business partner Steven Chew, and the owners Jonathan and Maria; a benefit was made possible to help me with my astronomical medical bills due to my dialysis treatments, transplant, and life long medications. That event was such a success in so many ways (community support, arts, music, donations, celebration of life, and positive healing) .The Ocean Avenue Brewery has become the home away from home to Laguna's few true local artists, musicicians, poets, surfers, and lovers of life/people/earth which seem to be fewer and further between these days. Forget about the tourists! This town has been modified enough for them and the Ocean Ave Brewery has always been a classy establishment that welcomes the visitors with a true warm local experience, BUT... NOT WITHOUT MUSIC!!!!!!!!!!! If your job is to actually know this city and it's best interest, then you might want to take a look around town and decide that.. the Ocean Avenue Brewery is the most classy, respected, and deserving Restaraunt/ Dancing Establishment that should have the right, responsibility, and "priviledge" of MUSIC!!! Whether it's acoustic guitar, a great DJ, or a rockin' reggae band, OAB needs MUSIC!!!

Michael Bergenmbergen@csulb.eduSave the live music!
Shelby Jarvisshelby.jarvis@hotmail.comThe Ocean Ave brewery has been the number one place for us to go for the last 8 years, please do not take this away from us. It's where all our friends come to see one another and have the time of our lives. It would be a great disappoint to see this establishment go quiet. Thank you
Crystal Lopezcrystlisabelle@mac.comI love amplified music and I love dancing. I also love the movie Footloose - you should see it sometime. It's about people who are anti-dancing and anti-music and how they have no fun. Let people have fun! Don't ruin fun for people!

Denise Erkeneffdenisedd@cox.netAnother example of petty, bought city council members who overstep their fiduciary duties and target businesses obviously for personal reasons. Concentrate on crime, mudslide neighborhoods, and the overall good of our coastal communities, not petty targeting of businesses. This one in particular operating as chartered 13 years ago.
Jessica Warrenjessica6679@gmail.comDon't stop the music! There's not enough live music in Orange County as it is!
becci reesminkeymoo2004@yahoo.co.ukWOULD NEVER B THE SAME AGAIN IF THIS GREAT BAR CLOSED

David Bowersleepytako@gmail.comWow! Laguna is worse and worse everyday isn't it.
Nellie Renwicknellierenwick@yahoo.comI love the Ocean Avenue Brewing Company.....I am from Laguna and have been going there for 12 years....
AnonymousAnonymousOcean Ave is the only good local place downtown for the 21-40 demographic that we have. Without the music, the downtown zone would suffer. The music that is played there has kept the fun alive and is always associated with some sort of good cause. How many people are really negative about the brewery and its happenings? Take that number and compare it to the number of lives that have been helped through the various fundraisers that have gone on down there. I promise that there is no comparison. The Brewery has been so good to the locals of town and have made their establishment a favorite. Laguna is being stripped of so many great places to hangout that it would be awful to lose another one.
Trigg Garnertriggg@hotmail.comThe Brewery has helped many good causes in Laguna Beach and is a town supporter. It would be a shame to let a treasure like that go because a couple of people have forgotten how to have a good time.
stacy dartfterbirth@aol.comI do not live in the city of laguna beach but for the last 8 years, my friends and I have met at this restaurant before (and sometimes after) the Laguna Beach Art Walk. Some of my friends do live in the city. We used to end the walk at the Marine Room but it got too crowded. Please do not shut off entertainment at this establishment. There are few enough places in this town to hear live music, eat good food and see nice art on the walls.

Owen Garmiregarmire@hotmail.comI am a Laguna Beach resident and frequently visit Ocean Avenue Brewery to enjoy music and dancing. I have been doing so happily for the last four years and can confirm a significant portion if not the majority of patrons live in Laguna Beach. I am unhappy with the Cities recent apparent assault on all thing fun and youthful. This most recent hearing only reinforces a concerning trend and message that younger vibrant people are not welcome. As much as I love Laguna Beach for its natural beauty, I fear I will be forced to leave because of prejudices held by city council members. However, I get the feeling my departure is exactly the point of these council tactics. That I now feel unwelcome after first discovering Laguna Beach as a town of peace and love is a terrible shame, and I hope someone can expose these elitists and their biased agenda before they can stomp out all diversity.

Leighalrflove949@hotmail.comOcean Ave. is not just a restaurant/bar it is a place for amazing fundraisers for local Laguna Beach residents, a place to enjoy great music by local bands and a great place to see wonderful friends. I used to go to Ocean Ave. on a regular basis, I haven't been for awhile now, but it is always fun to go down every once in awhile to see everyone, from the employees, owners and friends. Everything that they do for the locals is tremendous!

Chad CooperTungngroov@verizon.netOcean Ave is a Laguna Institution! Why don't we close down the Marine Room and H. Tavern while we're at it! Please vote for a new City planning Commission.
Sandie Warshawsandiewarshaw@yahoo.comPlease keep the night life alive!! The brewery is home to many from Laguna as well as travelers.... Keep it alive!!!

mikemvalerio24@gmail.comLaguna Beach is concerned about serving non-laguna residents.......that is Laguna Beach. thats how revenue is made in the city. i think that the council should focus more of their energy on significant issues like paying your public service men and women more. i.e-fire and police. lowest paid in the country. to Ocean Ave Brewery: thanks for the music and drinks!!

Keith Barrieflobocop@netzero.netPlease consider my request that the Ocean Avenue Brewery be allowed to continue conducting business as usual. It is irrational to stifle private businesses that constructively contribute to the local economy. Ocean Avenue Brewery is one of these businesses.

Lisa Henrylisamarie72@gmail.comThis is the one place in Laguna that you can always count on to meet up with friends, weather it's to support a local charity, just have dinner, or dance to great music in a comfortable place that we can call home. It would be a shame to close the doors to this place.
