| 5 | Anonymous | Anonymous | Please keep Ocean Avenue as is and Laguna Beach an enjoyable place to be in. If restrictions are placed on establishments such as Ocean Avenue, ultimately the city would lose as people would find somewhere else to enjoy themselves. |
| 6 | Lorraine Shubin | rainyjoy20@aol.com | The Brewery offers much more than drinking and dancing. It also has great Italian food and regularly features and displays the art of local artists. |
| 7 | Donna Buono | donna@morningsongfarm.com | It saddens me to think a misinformed faction at City Hall would misuse their power and take steps to anniliate the Brewery, a prominant supporter of so many important causes in this jewel of a city. Jonathan and Maria Thomas have supported my struggling organic farm since its inception, and it would sure be a hardship for us if they were forced out of business. And such a waste for the city of Laguna Beach and all it's quirky, music-loving, great-food admiring residents! |

| 19 | Rich Garrett | richg11@verizon.net | I believe this would be a terrible mistake to take entertainment away from Ocean Ave. They have contributed so much by way of fundraisers, etc. for the community as well as other charitable needs. Please reconsider.
thanks for your time,

| 28 | Mark Moreno | DJmarkmoreno@yahoo.com | This is a landmark for Laguna. Not only would the resients and outside patrons lose a specific destination that we love and enjoy spending time at the city will aslo lose out on incomming revenues that would no longer be avail for the taking. |

| 31 | Anonymous | Anonymous | Sounds like the "City" doesn't realize that Laguna Beach wouldn't be what it is without the dancing and the music. Art & music go hand and hand! Maybe if the "City" didn't allow so many HAOLE KOOK shows that claimed to be the "Real OC" prancing about with their reality tv show cameras on my favorite beaches, then they probably would have less of a problem with "everyone" trying to be there! Also, the idea of trying to ostracize and or exclude anyone from anything for any reason sounds like discrimination to me. |

| 34 | Pat Ryan | pdryan9@yahoo.com | Isn't almost all of the downtown business in Laguna geared towards tourists? Regardless, the Ocean Avenue caters to tons of locals. |
| 35 | Steven R. Chew | chew@cox.net | Dear Sir:
My family and I are infrequent but passionate customers of the Ocean Ave Brewery, having attended several of their fundraisers (benefits for locals, local organizations, and even a successful organ doner benefit, as well as several art shows.
I think it is a venue that greatly benefits the City. |

| 45 | Marnie Bloom | lb92651@cox.net | The Ocean Avenue Brewery is a staple in the Laguna Beach Community and serves as one of the only places in Laguna that caters to the locals. With their fabulous menu, local discounts and entertaining live music it is considered one of my favorite spots to eat and enjoy myself in Laguna. As a resident of 15 years, it would be a shame for the Laguna Beach City Council to evaluate this well run organization as threat to their environment and culture. They are one of the few that support local entertainers, artists and provide a safe venue for locals to enjoy their town and their artists.
Shame on you City Council for thinking anything less! |
| 46 | Keleen Hitzel | khitzel@hotmail.com | Funny thing is that when MTV exploited Laguna, Ocean Ave. became a hot spot for non-Laguna residents. Before it was ruled by the locals! |
| 47 | Alec Bridges | alec@alecbridges.com | Laguna is an artists' community at its core. Please allow it to stay one and let the music be heard.
