Name: Asim on Sep 13, 2012Comments: I really dislike the fact that we need to go online, and move back and forth from two different eBooks, in order to get images for one physical copy of a book that has no images in it. It is definitely a waste of my time and money, as a first-year student!Flag

Name: Lydia on Sep 13, 2012Comments: We should be able to buy access to the web resources and share the book. I feel that we aren't getting the whole story as to why it is absolutely necessary for each of us to buy our own book. Our questions are met with vague uninformative answers.Flag

Comments: I've believed that the textbook industry is a racket for a long time now. But this instance takes it to a whole new level. It borders on extortion. The publisher has sold us a substandard product knowing full well that we need this book for the course, and will buy the book regardless of quality in order to succeed.Flag -

Name: Pilarica Fernandez on Sep 13, 2012Comments: I think it's absurd that we have to go online every time we have to look at the actual picture. $189.00 does not justify this. At least make the book half-price; then maybe I'll buy the book. I work for the Superior Court of Justice of Ontario and this is one of many reasons why I continue to see so many students accrue student debt and file for bankruptcy by the time they graduate.Flag

Name: Jason Pinney on Sep 13, 2012Comments: For many of us I feel there is already a lot of pressure because we are a part of the new first year programs, which include new untested curriculum. The textbook situation seems to be the icing on the cakeFlag

Name: Laura Thipphawong on Sep 13, 2012Comments: Research and studying is one of my strong points, and instead of getting my reading done right away as I planned, I have to photocopy the chapters as we go and then look up each image one by one on google because I can't afford the $180. This is an obvious racket to get money from students and it's pretty sad.Flag
