With a recent vehicle break-in during the early hours on March 11, 2013 we have to consider additional measures for our safety and well-being of our small community. Many neighbors reported unwanted solicitors and unwanted traffic within our complex. There are numerous reports of theft, vehicle break-ins, and even burglary within a mile radius (according to spotcrime.com/ca/tustin). This is a scary thought especially in a quite and presumably safe neighborhood such as ours. Please join me in petitioning for additional safety measures to be installed within the complex. We are aiming for measures such as an added front gate (to keep solicitors and outsiders OUT!), cameras in the parking area and front (this would monitor all traffic, PLUS the use of cameras have shown to deter crimes according to http://www.library.ca.gov/crb/08/08-007.pdf), and possible security guard. Our residing land lord have asked for cameras in the past but we NEED TO TAKE A STAND TOGETHER to show our concerns and seriousness about this matter. Thank you in advance for your support.
