We call upon Rugby Borough Council to reject the planning application and alcohol and entertainment licence from Clifton Cruisers of Clifton Wharf, Clifton upon Dunsmore. These applications would increase traffic and disruption by allowing the previously canal based business to extend its activities and advertising to non canal users increasing traffic on a dangerous road and access. It would also increase noise, crime, parking and general disruption to the villagers quiet enjoyment of the area as well as creating a safety issue for residents, road users and potential customers that the development would attract.
