If the commuter routes ran more frequently during the day instead of only at times which cater to 9-to-5 workers, I could actually take the bus to work. As it is now, there is no bus service I can take to my place of employment. |

All the venues (ie, theaters, Popejoy, restaurants, music venues, night clubs) stay open all year around. In addition, UNM students are a good source of riders and are around most of the the year except the summer. |

Mass transportation in a city should meet the needs of its working citizens first. Yesterday , Memorial Day, a friend biked to work in the early AM, but was too tired to pedal the 7 miles home. We have a pickup truck and put his bike in the bed and him in the cab. |

| 33 | Jason Forsythe | In a town that has such a big DWI problem, and an understaffed and overburdened police department, it's just common sense that mass transit should run year round until the bars close. Let the cops handle the real criminals and leave people who are just out to have a good time alone already. |

| 35 | Leanne Yanabu | My domestic partner wanted to use the Rapid Ride to see Steven Marley's concert at the Sunshine theater last week -- but had to drive since service did not run late enough to bring him back after the event was over. |
| 36 | K. Heatherington | I am a daily bus commuter from the far south valley to UNM, yet I am compelled to bring my car into town once a week or more because evening bus schedules end at 7pm for Route 53--my ride home. If I have dinner with a friend in town, I have to drive or my friend has to drive me home, because I can't catch a bus home after 7. This is an unreasonable restriction on bus service, that prevents many people from being able to use the buses to their full transportation needs. In this time of deepening oil scarcity and wildly escalating prices and increasing environmental damage, it is profoundly important that public transportation become reliable and thorough enough to serve growing needs. Increasing the hours of the AbqRide, year-round, on all routes, would have an enormously beneficial effect on the environment (less cars), the ridership of the buses (substantial increase), and the econony (less money to oil companies for gas).
Thank you very much for your attention to this issue. |

| 44 | John A Davis Jr | this is the best idea in a while. actually, it has been a hot debate subject for years. we need this now. protect everyone and help out those who would benefit from longer service. |

| 49 | Monet Maloof | In order to liven and diversify our downtown scene (for the better), in order to support greener living through decreased driving, in order to cut down on the senseless and needless deaths that take place because of drunk driving, in order to forge bonds between people and the city they live in---PLEASE, PLEASE consider expanding AT LEAST the Central Rapid Ride/ 66 hours. It would be invaluable to the community. |
