More Buses After Dark!

The petition

ABQ RIDE’s short operating hours are frequently mentioned as a big problem with the bus service here in Albuquerque. Many people don’t fall into your typical “9 to 5” workset and have to work late. Lots of people simply want to go out and have fun during the night. But with ABQ RIDE’s current operating hours, taking the bus just isn’t a feasible option for these situations. And in a state where DWI is such a major issue, our governments do not offer sufficient funds to one of the best solutions to drunk driving – an alternative to driving.

Signature on this petition indicates that you, the signee, endorse the extension of late-night bus service in Albuquerque, particularly along Central Avenue. You, the signee, allow us to use your name along with those of the other signees on this petition to demand the City of Albuquerque allocate sufficient funds for the purpose of extending bus service into the late hours of the night.
