Many citizens of Oakland California would love to have a department store such as Macy\'s in the downtown area which currently has a new 12,000sq ft. Gap store, and a Men\'s Wherehouse. But that is all that Oakland has. We need a full service department store. Please sign this petition so that Oaklanders will have a place to shop other than the current Sear\'s department store, and so that residents such as myself do not have to drive 20 minutes or more to shop. The signatures gathered will be forwarded to the Chief Operating Officer of Macy\'s and to the Head of the Federated Department Stores. Thank you
