We the residents of Oakbrook Lane and surrounds petition the City of University City Missouri to change the speed limit on Oakbrook Lane to 15 MPH from the existing 25 MPH and to add a stop signs to the corners of Balson, Stanford and Gannon where they intersect Oakbrook Lane. Since the parkway is used from several blocks away for area children, bike riders and dog walkers, we need to control the traffic that continues to be used as a cut-through thoroughfare at sometimes a disturbing rate of speed. We have asked the Police Department for greater patrol as well as an electronic speed monitor, but that works for only a short time. We would like the speed and control of traffic changed permanently.
