   Comments: j'ai perdu 1 de ma vie (4 mois) a etudier a temps plein,et le temps d'attente pour les examens,et le temps d'attente pour les resultas des exams,et tout l'argent depensé pour les etudes et les exams.en bref ça fait exactement 1 an que je n'ai eu aucun salaire!!! croyez moi je suis tres deçu de leur foutu nouveau programme de m.....alors qu'avant c'etait un choix de repense ,même si tu repend par hazzard tu as une chance de l'avoir .s'ils veulent faire le ménage dans la profession !!!! qu'ils le fassent sur le terrain!! pas avec les nouveaux étudiants qui ont un bagage bcp plus pesant.

    Comments: ca prendrais un (RECOURS COLLECTIF)...contre L'OACIQ organisme qui semblent etre dépasser par les évènements, suite a leur ( amateurisme,) ( leur soif d'argent sans limite,) et le( manque de coordination avec les collèges qui offre la nouvelle formation... En plus, 1 mois et demi pour corriger un examen... QUI T'A COUTER 600.00$$$$ ( cruauté mentale) pour ces personnes qui avaient un reve, qui SOUDAINEMENT c'est transformer en cauchemar.... ca fait 6 mois que les étudiants se consacrent corps et ame a temps plein, et dans la plupart du temps , ils ont payer avec de l'argent emprunté ( 5000.00$$$) pour payer les études, en plus, on te rajoute ( 600.00$$$) pour passer le test , un test, que pratiquement70%-80%- 90% des élèves on échouer?? 1 fois? ,2 fois?( SUJET TABOU) mais ASSEZ PAYANT CA??? ...sans etre des grands génies, on peut facilement conclure ,= qu'il y a ( ANGUILLE SOUS ROCHE ) , et ce n'est n'est pas tout... si tu veux le reprendre LE FAMEUX TEST, QUI SOIS DIT EN PASSANT, NE CORRESPOND PAS TROP AVEC LA FORMATION RECUE ????? ET BIEN emprunte un autre (600.00$$$$) et un autre( mois ) D'ATTENTE pour ton nouveau rendez vous... ET POURQUOI PAS UN AUTRE MOIS ET DEMI? POUR LA CORRECTION...PAS 48 HEURES, PAS 5 JOURS OUVRABLES ? PAS 15 JOURS? 45 JOURS APPROX ,WOW COMME ON DIT ,ON ARRETE PAS LE PROGRES, et tout cela sous le couvert de la légalité???? pourtant c'est pas JUSTEMENT ca de( L'ABUS DE POUVOIR???) c'est pas ca qu'on appelle ( UN MONOPOLE????) je commence a comprendre PROPRIO DIRECT finalement, ET LES BANNIÈRES INDÉPENDANTES QUI VEULENT SE DÉBARRASSER DE( L,OACIQ) et DU MEME FAIT je comprends la grogne des agents immobiliers a travers le Québec, qui se sentent exploiter PAR (LA PAPAUTÉ DE L'OACIQ), CES AGENTS IMMOBILIERS CROYAIENT S'ETRE PROCURER UN BON CHIEN DE GARDE ... MAIS LE CHIEN EST DEVENU TELLEMENT (GOURMAND ET AGRESSIF) QU'IL DÉVORE TOUT CE QU'IL VOIT ,ET NE LEUR DONNENT PLUS ACCES A LEUR RÉSIDENCE....a mon humble avis ,DANS CE CAS LA, IL FAUT SE DÉBARRASSER DU CHIEN...     Comments: OACIQ fait une campagne de financement sur notre dos afin que leur résultat financier 2011 soit ENORME !!! svp vous avez fait mathématique... calculer bien 600$ de l'examen... sur le nombre de personne qui avait ( 100 environs ) , multiplier le par 2 ( Quebec, Montreal )... vous avez demander qui a passé du 1er coup ? pas grand monde... alors multiplier, additionner depuis le nouveau examen... c'est qui le dindon de la farce ! NOUS ... les étudiants ... qui paye pour le financement d'une organisation OACIQ... le gourvernement leurs a donner des droits !! ils abuse de leurs droit !!! il n'a pas aucun de vous avec un contact dans un bureau d'avocat qui voudrais nous soutenir... pour un recour collectif !... FAUT faire de quoi !!!

    Comments: ca fait la deuxieme fois ,que mon ami recommence le fameux test que l'on pourra désormais TRISTEMENT nommé (L,ARNAQUE DE L,OACIQ)... comme vous le savez il y a 7 volets dans l'examen ce n'est pas un secret ,ca coute 600$$$approx pour le faire, et ca recoute 600$$$pour le recommencer, et feu a volonté ... ce qui est ( un secret) et qui est ABUSIF au plus au point, c'est que tu n'a pas le droit de voir ( ta correction de ton examen) non monsieur... (top secret) oubli ca ... on se croirait en russie ,et il y a longtemps en plus... qui me dis que le correcteur n'a pas commis d'erreur???comment est-ce possible ne pas pouvoir constater nos erreurs, peut etre que ce service n'est pas compris avec le 600$$$$... POURQUOI 1 MOIS POUR UNE CORRECTION? ENCORE PIRE si tu réussis 6 étapes sur 7 ,de cet examen hiper difficile( qui tient presque de la maitrise) un examen que 98% des agents immobiliers de( l'ancien regime) avant la (réforme,) échoueraient a la vitesse du son... et PIRE ENCORE , IL T'OBLIGE a recommencer meme les volets que tu as réussis, ET PAYER, EN CAS QUE TU FERAIS UNE AUTRE ERREUR (PAYANT PAYANT,PAYANT) et en voulez vous un autre secret ? contacter L'OACIQ par téléphone et demander leur le pourcentage d'examen réussis la premiere fois , la deuxiemme fois, la troisiemme fois et il va s'en dire la quatriemme fois ... J'ai écris une belle lettre de 2 pages qui expliquent mon histoire par rapport au cours de 7 mois, la nouvelle loi et l'examen avec un taux de réussite épuvantable. Je vous demanderais d'écrire une lettre comme j'ai faites, et de l'envoyé au plus de monde que vous pensez qui pourrait nous aider. Je l'ai envoyé par email et par fax à Francois Legault, chef du partie coalition avenir quebec, au Député de Prévost Gilles Robert, Raymond Boivin sous-ministre des finances. Lundi je vais les appeller pour prendre un rendez-vous avec chacune de ces personnes pour discuter du problème et pour trouver une solution! S'il-vous-plaît, faitez comme moi et envoyez votre lettre par fax et em@ail, je vous le jure que ça peut donner quelque chose. Si vous pensez qu'aller refaire l'examen et essayer de passer à 100% pour avoir votre permis est la solution, alors vous ètes dans le champ! J'ai les coordonnés de ces personne à qui j'ai envoyé la lettre, vous n'avez qu'à me les demander! Je peux meme vous montrer la lettre que j'ai écrite pour que vous vous en servez comme exemple! Aidez moi à faire changer les choses à l'OACIQ !

    Comments: I have done this exam several times and I am waiting for my results for the last one i did. Some people I know which were students after me , had received the compressed courses (less hours than my class) at the school and they are ALL FAILING the exams ...the schools are total BULLS**T, especially some of them, they are also funded by you know who?? I understand that there is presently a real-estate franchise giving courses now ??? Apperently they teach you the trade by practice, practice, and more practice. BUT that means MORE money and MORE time without a pay...what is going on with this industry ?????...The next thing we will know is that ALL the agencies will want to train students so they can make sure to have new blood in their offices, because there are not many new brokers out there in the last 12 months. It is with SADNESS that I am beginning to feel like it has become a big joke and we are the ponds in this chess game!!! I hope that we are strong enough and stand up to all this ABUSE of power and we come together at the manifestation at the oaciq office in brossard at the end of the month. WE can make a difference. The oaciq was convinced that they would win their court case against DuProprio BUT they LOST. Results were published Jan.12,2012. They are such cry babies, they want to appeal at the supreme court level. Wake up oaciq you will go down ...once the public can see what you are truely all about. See you all there !!!!!

    Comments: Once again, a typical "Only in Quebec" situation! Another attempt at making us a "distinctly stupid province" or should I say "distinctly corrupt province" while being able to say "we have the toughest standards of certification of any Real Estate industry in North America"! Fact is for years you could get certified for peanuts with a test a moron could pass and when the OACIQ realized that the schools were making all the money and the standards of their industry vise-a- vie the public were a joke they devised a system that would effectively reduce the number of people entering the industry without losing revenue! Brilliant, no? The morons now are us, paying tons of $$$ to get into an industry where we will hold a third class licence compared to all the jackpot licences handed out like candy for years! I am among you who will be facing a second $600 exam in March and will surely write it with the thought that I would have better odds if I went to the local casino with my cash...at least there I would get instant and fully transparent results! Let's not be naive, this is a brilliant plan to effectively reduce the number of brokers in Quebec and no changes will occur until they accomplish their goal.Once that is achieved they will revise the system again due to the pressures of the agencies and schools who will lobby for change due to their losses in revenue. I wish I had better news but that is the plan. For now our petitions and complaints will go in a file until their goal is achieved. You didn't think for a minute that they (government, board of directors, famous professors) would agree to have made a mistake with this new system. That would mean that they were the morons and not us...yeh...keep dreaming!!!!

    Comments: I will have to agree to Sandro's opinion. This whole system is a perfect plan from ''THEM'' to make tons of money and try to correct the situation they had put themselves into with many poor agents in the Quebec market. But, somewhere down the line, there will be an adjustment with the exams, and that is when the people who truely want to work in this business will be able to rise to the top and achieve their goals. I too have done their exam in the past and have not passed, but I am convinced that I am ready to work in the ''REAL'' world and I stress REAL...i have faith in myself and I know friends who have passed and are doing well. Not all is lost, you have to believe in your capabilities as well, perserverance is what you need. If you give up at this stage of the game, perhaps you may want to re-evalute why you want to become a real estate broker to begin with...cause the way we handle rejection is a big part of our success. Waiting for my results with confidence, I wish you all good luck.....

    Comments: Well, after recieving my results from my 3rd exam and not passing 1 competance level again, it is safe to say that this exam is surely designed to make most students fail and keep repeating the 600$ fee. In my case, however, my conversation with a represantative at the OACIQ office when I called to find out information on the procedure turned ugly. This, only gave me the desire to call many institutions on the federal and provencial level to get advise on what measures must be taken to be have access to my exams. I recieved very valuable information that I will be VERY happy to share with all you who are interested. The first step I have already taken, I have sent them a LEGAL request regardingthe remittance of personal records in the private sector,(oaciq is a private organisation) that is their loop-hole, as soon as I receive an answer on their behalf, I will then share with ALL who are interested. Keep in mind that I am the first to use this legal approach. I am confident that something positive will be the results of all of this. As my name is Rose, I will be a thorn underneath their skin. I also understand that the medifestation is being held on Feb.29th at 10:00 at Brossard, I will be there, along with an update on my situation. I may not get my permit, but perhaps my duty is to make sure that all students that take this exam, are greeted with a rose with lots of valuable information on how to proceed if their results are not favorable. I will keep you posted. Hope this made someone's day, cause I know that l'oaciq is being challanged for the very first time on a legal level.

    Comments: I like many others received my long awaited marks from the OACIQ Residential Brokerage Exam this past Monday. I must say I was very disappointed to learn that I had failed one competency (#4), thus failing the exam. My disappointment soon turned to anger during this week, as I spoke to some of my class mates & future colleagues who also wrote that same exam. Most so far have also failed, but the real surprise was in speaking to those who past. I am happy for them & wish them well in there new careers. The thing is most of them share one thing in common, they ALL thought for sure that they had failed after writing the exam. Most did not finish either 3 hour exams. One did not even do the time consuming comparative market analysis & passed! I however completed both exams & felt I had a good chance of passing. This led me to ask the questions, how does the OACIQ mark these exams & what do they find to be most important for a PASS? I am starting to believe it to be a bit like sandro’s earlier blog comment, it’s like going to the casino? I think it totally depends on that certain individual who happens to be correcting your exam & perhaps whether they correct it on a Monday AM or Friday PM?? And what about the $200 fee they charge to have you test re-corrected? I think if you fail in just one competency, the OACIQ should automatically have another correcting person look at it before giving you a “Fail” & of course do this for FREE! I would do anything to see my exam & how they arrived at a fail in my 4th competency. I have of course signed up to write again in March but I really feel disillusioned & have no idea on how to prepare & study differently for a chance at passing.

    Comments: My one competency level I did not pass was also level 4....along with many more students. Funny, seems that level is such a grey area and it is the easiest to pass...but again oaciq finds away to make it a black area and fails many. I am soing more research and will come back on this site to share, share, share...stay tuned!!!!!!!
