Dear New York Times. Please reconsider your pricing structure for online content. $195 per year is too high for many of your readers. The NYT is one of the last reliable outlets for news, and is therefore essential to the intellectual, economic, and political health of its readers. Please don't take this crucial source away from the people who need it most. As a regular reader of the New York Times online, I would happily pay $50 per year, $5 per month, or 5 cents per article.
