   Comments: I was just saying this very same thing to my cousin this past week...I was in Indiana and was so happy to finally hear country music...everytime northern NJ and its surrounding areas had a country music station, it was changed to sports or rock/hiphop or something else....country music is beautiful and for those who think it is hokey then they should just listen to the words of a few songs...BRING IT BACK YOU POWERS THAT BE IN THE MUSIC WORLD...we c/m lovers should not be left out of the mix...

    Comments: New York Needs a Country Station at 102.7 NOW!!! AS an avid fan of Country Music, I have to go out of my way to listen to Country Music, I would have to either drive up to Orange County to listen to WRWD or wait until nightfall to pick up 920 CKNX from Wingham Ontario and 1070 CHOK from Sarnia Ontario. I feel that after May 7, 2002, when New York last had a Country Station, we feel that it is high time to start a movement to get Country Music back on New york radio. And the station perfect for a Country Format is at 102.7 WNEW FM! Why Becasue Fresh 102.7 SUCKS!!!!     Comments: I want a country music station in the tri-state area so badly I can taste it. And I want the real deal: I want the DJs and the weather; the upcoming concerts and events and the gossip and news; all of it. I don't want country via satellite. I want a real live country radio station like they have in Atlanta. There's an awesome station down there called "The Bull" and they are the real deal. That's what we need around here: the real deal. Let's go, people. Sign that petition! We need country radio NOW.

With coutnry music being so popular and crossing over into different markets, now should be the time to have a NYC station! Especially with so many young kids influenced by Taylor Swift & Carrie Underwood, imagine the diversified listening audience this station would have!
