Why NYC cabbies are not allowed to talk on cell phone (Hand free) even when there is no passenger in the cab specialy when most cabbies work 12 hours in day and its hard to keep in touch with family While bus drivers cops garbage truck drivers can talk and text on phone even without any hands free device I can upload 100 of pictures proofing my claim about this. can some lawyer tell us if this leagal? NYC TLC and NYPD is writing tickets like crazy these days This is for mayor bloomberg tlc commisnor and other official to allowe us cabbies to talk on phone atleast when cabs are empty(without passenger).
