Name: Timothy Rothman on Jun 13, 2012Comments: The ball fields are in horrible shape especially the batters boxes. They are boderline dangerouos to play on. Being a NYC resident, tax payer and ball player who pays 2200 a year to play on these fields, the condition they are kept is unacceptable. I would like to see the necessary resources dedicated to keeping the fields up to standards.Flag

Name: Jonathan Ross on Jun 13, 2012Comments: Its rediculous at this point. I dont know what their "priorities" are but it seems we pay a lot more money than anyone else who uses these facilities. I know it is not YSA's fault but my softball team is starting to look elsewhere for softball leagues. Atleast our schedule will be garunteed in the new league. This is NEW YORK CITY. You think Cincinatti or Tampa Bay has these problems and irresponsible people working their departments. I pay plenty of taxes to the city that I dont care the reason that one man can flick a light switch. Shape up or ship out!!!!Flag

Name: Evan Waldman on Jun 13, 2012Comments: To not be able to play due to lightining issue and field maintenance is unaccaptable. Dealing with mother nature (rain, sotrms, wind, snow, ect) I can deal with. But when you are told the lights are wokring, spend time, money, gas and fees for tolls and show up and the lights arent working is unreal. This has been going on since day one. My team has had 3 games cancelled due to lighting and field conditions. YSA has always told me the truth and always very helpful, but there is so much they can do as a league the Parks Department has to step up.Flag
