They will also benefit from having a place to go with youth in their community as well as being able to get to know youth in the surrounding communites. Please vote yes for todays youth and the future youth who need a safe community park where they can express their love of skateboarding.Flag

I would not only encourage you to build the skate park, but I would encourage you to allow a lucky few local kids (perhaps through a contest or those with good grades or some other measure) to help design the park. This gives them a great sense of accomplishment & encourages good behavior!Flag

I live near the intersection of Coffee and Norris, so traveling all the way to Beach Park or Big City is such a hassle! It would be really awesome if a skate park was built in the area. The ones in Bakersfield are already packed as it is.Flag
