We call upon the members of the Philadelphia City Council NOT to repeal the contribution limits set forth by City Council just three years ago to restrict campaign donations to candidates running for municipal office, including those running for Mayor of Philadelphia. Repealing these limits now, in the middle of a campaign, will not only serve to undermine public confidence in the integrity of our elected officials, but may allow special interests and high donors to influence the actions of our representatives.
