112	Anonymous	Are Peanuts an absolute necessity in peoples diet, I don't think they are, they should be banned. I am a nut allergy sufferer and I can tell you it is not pleasant, neither is it easy to find food that has no connection with nuts.

138	Emma Gilbride	I went from an AirWest plane straight to the emergency room in San Diego due to another passenger eat a bag of freshly roasted peanuts. Peanuts and treenuts are a serious threat to the health and lives of many people.

We are not asking to remove ALL nut products from flights, just peanut packets which when opened by an airline full of people all at once can create a highly dangerous situation for a peanut allergy sufferer. To ignore this increasing disability is discrimination.

I believe some day a peanut ban will be a reality, but unfortunately not in the immediate future. However, petitions like this are a start in the right direction.
