I don't think the existing ltc students should have to pay the new SLCC's tuition because when we originally started as ltc students we had no idea that our school name along with our tuition would change. I truly believe that many students wouldn't have signed up if we knew we would have to pay double the tuition. Now that we're getting close to the end of our program we have many expenses and many of us cannot work a full time job because the nursing program is very labor intensive. I did not receive the full pell grant therefore I will have to pay the rest of the tuition out of pocket, but if the tuition was the same I wouldn't have pay anything. I really need you to understand our terms and conditions because many of these expenses are impossible right now. I really would not want to jeaopardize my career because of last minute changes that we wasn't aware of in the beginning. This is not our fault!
