Dear fellow BCIT Nursing students,

I am writing to you on behalf of the Level 4 student representatives. We are extremely concerned with the inadequate amount of lab time we have received in our NURS 3020 course: Clinical Techniques. We understand that previous Level 4 students have also been concerned with the lack of lab time, and we would like to address this issue. Attached is a letter we have written to the Dean of Health Sciences and Associate Dean of Nursing. We ask that you please read this letter, and consider our concerns regarding the lack of instruction time we have received for this course. We have set up a petition to bring attention to this issue, in hopes to change the formatting of this course for future students. Our aim is to improve the quality of our nursing education, such that we can continue to provide safe, competent care.
