Comments: I used to watch As The World Turns years ago and have begun watching it again because of Luke and Noah. I would really like to see their relationship develope more just as other heterosexual couples. When it comes to straight couples we see them in bed together, kissing at the drop of a hat and showing affection in various different ways. This has not been the case when it comes to Luke and Noah. The two kisses that they shared at different times was a breakthrough in daytime TV. All My Children did a gay storyline years ago and the two gay characters (one a teacher, Michael and the other a student, Kevin) did not have any sort of relationship with their respective boyfriends. One instance at Christmas, Michael's boyfriend was standing under the mistletoe and he did not even kiss his boyfriend, a female co-star went up and kissed him. This was so unrealistic and I was quite annoyed with it. The fact that As The World Turns showed a kiss between two males is incredible and it would be a pity to go back into "the dark ages" and not expand on Luke and Noah's relationship and portray it in a realistic manner. How often have we seen male and female couples jump into bed without anyone batting an eye or kissing up a storm. Just because these two characters are male does not mean they do not have sex lives. It seems that the powers that be at ATWT think that all gay male couples hug instead of kiss and don't have any sex lives. We applaud you for what you have done but now it seems you are backing out of what you "promised" us. It is like you gave us a taste of the icing of the cake but not letting us have the cake.

Comments: I must admit, I haven't watched a soap since my college years. And even then, I've only watched DAYS. I just happened to stumble on Luke and Noah's story a few weeks ago online, and I must say, I'm not only a huge fan of the duo, but of the entire show in general. I feel it's safe to say that's it's because of Luke and Noah, that I am now a fan of ATWT. I've told countless friends and relatives about "NUKE", and have now gotten them hooked to ATWT. Please continue to support NUKE's story.Theirs is a story that I never thought I would be able to see in my lifetime. I can't wait to see them grow as couple. Thank you for them!

Comments: Show some pride and some artistic integrity, and write Luke and Noah the same way you would any other couple. Keep them in the gay ghetto--no evolution of their physical relationship--and you're going to lose fans. Starting with me.

Comments: I love Luke and Noah. They are what is keeping me tuned in to ATWT when I was ready to stop watching. I love that the episode that aired on 2/4/08 showed this couple being affectionate, I hope that continues. I want to see this couple written just as any other couple, as was promised.

Comments: The Luke and Noah storyline is the ONLY reason I watch ATWT anymore. Theirs is the sweetest, freshest, most believable love story I've seen on this or any other show. I agree with all of the points made in the petition and ask that you give this couple far more airtime than you have of late. Let these two guys in love be as physically affectionate with each other as any other young couple on the show. For the record, I'm a straight mother of two who has been married to the same guy for 25 years.
