56 elaine wishartthis is an absolute outrage - Tommy Sheridan has publicly claimed many times that he is a trade union supporter - this unacceptable right wing tactic shows the real trade unionists of this country who fight every day for the rights and fair treatment of workers that this man is no friend of the trade union movement and all trade unionists should make this clear to all their memebrs

58 Pete FirminAs President of Brent Trades Council, and not a supporter of either the SSP or Solidarity, I find it appalling that so-called socialists could treat their workers this way.

70 Roland RanceAs Secretary of Waltham Forest Trades Council in London, I am appalled at this treatment of workers by so-called socialists. We are entitled to expect better from those who claim to represent the working-class. If this results in redundancies, it will weaken all workers and unions in dispute with capitalist boses.
71 AnonymousMSP's quite rightly question or teh organisations for such 'dodgy' dealings. Are they then exempt from the rules? Even if they are not actually breaking any rules, they are not exactly showing Scottish Politics in a good light.

78 Manny NeiraCalling workers in dispute "politically motivated" is the oldest trick in the book: don't be distracted by the SSP/Solidarity row. These workers are facing redundancy because of contracts broken by Tommy Sheridan and Rosemary Byrne. No excuses! It's not SSP vs. Solidarity, it's worker against employer. Support the IWW and the NUJ!

88 Graham MossRemember that old Who song ending with "Meet the new boss - same as the old boss"? Wasn't it called "We won't be fooled again", or was that just a refrain?

92 Erik DavisI am a rank and file member of the IWW in the United States, and am appalled at the cynical behavior of MSPs Byrne and Sheridan, who claim to be working on behalf of workers (Their new party is called "Solidarity," for crying out loud) while acting directly to endanger the livelihoods of real workers. I have emailed both of these MSPs and politiely asked for clarification. The responses were abrasive, obfuscatory, and full of (unearned) self-righteousness. "30 Years of Union Work" doesn't excuse contemporary attempts to undermine worker rights! For the One Big Union, No War but Class War, Erik Davis IWW IU620
93 Kyle BellamySo, Tommy Sheridan, arch-traitor to socialism, strikes again.
94 Caron HughesGood luck to Lorna and her colleagues - dont know what Tommey & Co are thinking about - they really have lost the plot....!

96 Cat GrantKeep up the good work. Whilst this is a unique situation - it is a trade union one, 11 workers without wages because 2 "socialists" have renaged on their contractual agreements is not good in anyone's book.
