On Monday 29th December 2015, Newcastle United FC sold its manager Alan Pardew for a reported £3,500,000. The club failed to bring in a like for like manager that is capable of managing the team at the highest level of English football. John Carver has admitted on many occasions he and his management team are out of their depth in this division.
