| 186 | John Combe | Kidderminster | Great Britain does not need Trident. We do not need nuclear weapons to acheive status. Our invovement in Iraq is completely wrong. We should be aiming for a nuclear free world. |

| 192 | David Spencer | London | Its an utterly unneccesary waste of money and a totally unjustifiable risk to add to the many in the world. Britain should be leading the way on non-proliferation, not on proliferation! |
| 193 | Ian Pocock | London | |
| 194 | Saba Sadik | Manchester | The money used for trident could go to free education, to the NHS, to help lower crime rate, to aiding the hungry in less fortunate countries, to creating more energy efficient ways of running the country, to cleaning up the UK. There are so many good things we could do with that money. Why use it for something we know to be evil. |

| 197 | JANE SELLERS | LEEDS | |
| 198 | Denise Preston | Carmarthen | Unless we cancel preparations to renew Trident, how can we continue to join Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty talks without being accused of hypocrisy?
The vast sums to be spent on Trident need, instead, to fund the infrastructure of this country, and also to fund 'green' initiatives e.g. grants for most houses to have solar panels, or photovoltaic cells, and other alternative ways of saving energy. |
