| 1711 | Andrew Cleland | Cambridge | Nuclear weapons are totally unsuited to the threats of the 21st century. Save the money spent on Trident to re-build our (currently non existent) littoral navy, to defend our lands rather than aggress others. |
| 1712 | Elisabeth Murray | Lincoln | Please do this. For all our sakes. Nuclear weapons do not make the world a safer place. |

| 1719 | Ben Davolls | London | Nukes are no longer the sign of an advanced nation, they are a crutch for millitary fears. All Nukes should be devolved into constitute parts to be used for energy crisis. |
| 1720 | Paul Baker Jones | West Wales | The Only Road to Peace is Disarmament. |
| 1721 | Karen Hallows | Wrexham | Nuclear weapons are an extremely dangerous waste of precious resources. Using one of these monstrosities has implications for generations to come. |

| 1728 | Gillian Hudson | Bristol | I was once proud to be British but now, with a Government which commits to one thing then goes ahead and does the opposite, I am ashamed to be presented to the world as two-faced - I am most definitely not - basic common sense demands total elimination of nuclear weapons. |

| 1744 | Joe | Hemingford Grey | This is such a stupid idea. Nuclear warfare is the most horrifying possibility for our planet, and our country, an apparent icon for democracy and diplomacy is trailing behind other nations by still possessing Trident? I have never been more ashamed to be British.....
Do the right thing, i beg you. As a 16 year old student, i call on you to agree to this petition! |
| 1745 | Eve Willis | Banbury | immoral, stupid. |
| 1746 | Madeleine Amos | Oxford | |
| 1747 | jane haden | newton abbot |
| 1748 | H Walters | Cardiff | The amount of money spent on this system *already* is obscene; to renew it is folly. For the amount wasted we could probably have a national Mag Lev Train system, or double the number of schools.
To use these weapons would mean to sign our own death warrant. If nukes mean so much then just keep a dozen or so. If even ONE of these hit a city such as New York or London, it could collapse that country or even the global finance system. These weapons are absurd. |
