908 Alice Ennals Sumner
909 Michael BrownPlease say no to nuclear weapons, no to war, and no to Trident replacement.
910 Rhiannon ReesThe vast amount of money that is being spent on Trident will not make the people of the UK any safer. Even senior military officers have questioned whether it is necessary or of any benefit in response to current threats to the UK.

914 Mark AlixThe UK cannot claim to be exercising global leadership in nuclear disarmament, whilst it is planning to rearm itself. Actions speak louder than words!

922 indieNuclear War = Nuclear Winter And this means an end to the Human race. For the sake of all Humanity - Ban nuclear weapons \ development. ( I am 15 years old - we owe a more secure world to the future generations )
923 Emma LoftusIn 1963 Barry Commoner wrote; "Nuclear war dominates our lives like an awesome but distant storm cloud. It's horrible face is hidden by military secrecy, confused by technical details; its features are softened by partial truths, wishful thinking, and the banalities of political discourse .." and also in 1958; .."never in the history of humanity has such a judgement (of the right to continue a nuclear weapons programme, to test, to proliferate, in the name of 'security') involved literally every individual now living and expecting for some generations to live on the earth.." Cause and effect. "Everything is connected to everything else. there is one ecosphere for ALL living organisms and what affects one, affects all."

928 Julia DrownBritain should lead the way to a nuclear free future. It makes sense in terms of defence and economics. There is no justification for continuing with nuclear weapons and I urge our representatives to say so and act accordingly.
929 Simone WebbWhatever the risks we undertake by dismantling our nuclear weapons, it's worth it.

941 Anne TownerHow can we expect other nations to agree to non-proliferation while we spend a fortune on updating our own weapons of mass destruction?

947 councillor Chris PrestonThe cold war is over, Tridents were designed and possible use for a totally different enemy than we are confronted with today. To start building today for use in twenty years time is rediculous, whoi can forsee that we will need nuclear subs in 2028. The cost is very expensive, todays generation has no right to subject my children and their children to such ongoing costs. Lets disarm all nuclear weapons now and give a lead and meaning to the nuclear non proliferation treaty.
