We, the commuters of DFW beg of the McGraw Construction and North Texas Tollway Authority to reopen the north bound on-ramp lane from 183 east bound, just a little further so that we might enter the freeway at a reasonable speed. This lane closure, a mere 100 yards too early in the right lane, has caused complete jams and added nearly 20 minutes to very many commutes to Irving. This is a road the commuters are paying to travel on once they get to the tollbooths, and as such, consideration should be given. The only other alternative route avoiding numerous traffic lights --which last over 4 minutes each-- is traveling all the way to BeltLine Road and using the clover ramps to turn around and come West bound toward north bound 161. Ironically, this has two full lanes for the 2 cars that pass through it per minute. Please consider our request to reasonably alleviate traffic.
