We, the undersigned, request that the New Paltz Central School District restore to the 2009-2010 budget the $7,000 allocated to improving school lunches and implement the Nutrition Task Force Recommendations in full by the end of the 2009-2010 school year. The Nutrition Task Force Recommendations were presented to the Board of Education over a year ago and progress has been too slow in implementing them. We ask for meaningful action from the District. We ask the Board of Education to fulfill it's commitment to improving the school lunch program. (Please note that if you are asked for a donation after completing the petition it is NOT for HFHK.
