In the National Society of Black Engineers, The Career Fair is an intergral part of every major conference. From Fall Regional Conferences, to the Annual Convention. The Career Fair model is also our primary funidng model for the regions to suport the membership as well as the national budget. The joint Career Fair proposal seeks to remove all career fairs from each conference, but would remove it from the Annual Convention, forcing our members who are seeking to attend it, to fundraise for an event in mid to late October. Something that drastic needs decided verry seriously by the membership, but also must be sent to the membership for final approval.
