I am a mother of a 25 year old son who had to register as a sex offender for asking an under-age girl to have sex. My son commited a burglary while under the influence of Meth and alcohol and asked a 15 year old that was in the house to have sex. My son was commiting the burglary to continue his addiction for Meth. He said something stupid and when the girl screamed he ran out the house and down the street where the police arrested him. My son "NEVER" touched the girl or even forced himself on her. My son spent 4 years in prison for his crime and now being a sex offender, he has to live on the streets. The parole dept does "NOTHING" to help theese innocent men. My son was violated twice, and not for any crime but because he was not in compliance with the 2,000 feet of the 290 rule. How on earth do they know at times if there is a park or school near. How on earth can theese men succeed in society? The parole dept has set them up to fail. Jessica's law was written so fast and poorly that theese innocent men are put in the same catagory as a rapist. I ask all those of loved ones that are going through the same ordeal as my son to sign this petition to re-catorgorize theese men and get some justice. Thank You
