Neil Patrick Harris is the perfect commencement speaker for Emerson College's Undergraduate Commencement in May 2014. He is exactly what most of our students aspire to be like; he has been successful on the big screen, the little screen and on stage, not to mention he has won awards for his work and has hosted the Emmy's with rumors of hosting the Tony's. Not to mention, he's a huge in the LBGTQ community, and has a loving partner and two kids. He's smart, funny, passionate and has a great presence, so isn't he not the perfect candidate for Emerson's commencement? Other colleges have gotten stars: Harvard, who is right up the street from us and is just as fabulous as we are, got J.K. Rowling to speak. While past Emerson commencement speakers have been wonderful, they are not exactly up to the standards that this school's students deserve, or they have been in-house. So, let us have Mr. Harris speak at the Undergraduate Commencement.
