We are saying NO to having whale sharks in captivity and displayed as part of Genting International's proposed attraction at the new Resorts World in Sentosa. We are appealing to the Minister for Trade and Industry and Singapore Tourism Board to stop this act of exploiting the wild, threatened or endangered animals for commercial purposes before it's TOO LATE!
It would be cruel to keep whale sharks in captivity. The whale shark is a highly intelligent and sociable animal, has a migratory range of 13,000 km and can dive to 980 metres. Is it possible for any man made environment to cater to their requirements
