Name: Elke Norwig on Oct 14, 2002State: TXCountry: USComments: As a resident of the Winchester Country subdivision on West Road, I strongly oppose this Wal-Mart proposal. There are two Wal-Mart Supercenters within ten miles of this site, and we don't need another one. The environmental impact would be devastating, and traffic on this already busy road would become even more congested. NO TO WAL-MART!Flag

Name: Rose McDaniel on Oct 14, 2002State: TXCountry: USComments: I am opposed to a Wal-Mart being built across from an elementary school. It would not only depreciate our home values, and cause increased traffic, decreased safety, and flooding, but would also put our children at risk. Our children play outside on a play ground, within viewing from across the street at the potential site. Pedafiles and child molesters have to shop somewhere - even at a walmart. Our children would be within their sight, even within their reach.Flag

Name: Jeffrey Kelly on Oct 14, 2002State: TXCountry: USComments: NO to Wal-Mart on West Road. The proper location is on Beltway 8 with no access to West Road, unless on south side of intersection. Concerned is traffic, water flooding, environmental, children and school and property values...Flag

Name: Ken Collins on Oct 14, 2002State: TXCountry: USComments: We do not want you in our neighborhood! Placing your store in this area lacks corporate responsibility. It will be totally destructive to our neighborhood, dangerous for our children attending Gleason Elementary School, jam our steets, increase crime, and ruin local business. Just move your location down the road to the corner of Beltway 8 and West Road. There is plenty of land, easy assess, away from the school and our neighboorhood. Be a moral, corporate neighbor and reconsider your decision.Flag

Name: Dora Man on Oct 14, 2002State: TXCountry: USComments: Building a Walmart in front of an elementary school will substantially increase the traffic flow during school hours and endanger the children. It also creates flooding problems in the immediate neighborhood. I oppose the Walmart to be built on West Road near Beltway 8.Flag

Name: Bobby O'Pry on Oct 14, 2002State: TXCountry: USComments: Nothing good at all can become of a WalMart being built at West Rd. near Beltway 8. I don't want more crime, danger to our community's children who attend school just across the street from the proposed site, more noise, more light polution, flooding, disturbance of our federally protected wetlands, etc. and etc. Wal Mart is not wanted in this location. I want them to find a more suitable place to build, and only then will I frequent ANY Wal Mart store. If Sam Walton were alive, he would be ashamed of his greedy kids. And last, in my eyes as well as many others, the Wal Mart name will be forever tarnished. Thank you for your time, Bobby O'PryFlag

Name: Angie Ayoola on Oct 14, 2002State: TXCountry: USComments: No Wal-Mart on West Road. We already have about three Wal-Mart around here that we shop at. We have no problem driving there whenever we want to shop. Building Walmart in our subdivision and accross the street from our children's school will be counter productive. We definetely will not shop there or any other Wal-Mart in the future.Flag
