    Comments: As a resident of the Winchester Country subdivision on West Road, I strongly oppose this Wal-Mart proposal. There are two Wal-Mart Supercenters within ten miles of this site, and we don't need another one. The environmental impact would be devastating, and traffic on this already busy road would become even more congested. NO TO WAL-MART!

    Comments: I am opposed to a Wal-Mart being built across from an elementary school. It would not only depreciate our home values, and cause increased traffic, decreased safety, and flooding, but would also put our children at risk. Our children play outside on a play ground, within viewing from across the street at the potential site. Pedafiles and child molesters have to shop somewhere - even at a walmart. Our children would be within their sight, even within their reach.

It will be totally destructive to our neighborhood, dangerous for our children attending Gleason Elementary School, jam our steets, increase crime, and ruin local business. Just move your location down the road to the corner of Beltway 8 and West Road. There is plenty of land, easy assess, away from the school and our neighboorhood. Be a moral, corporate neighbor and reconsider your decision.

I don't want more crime, danger to our community's children who attend school just across the street from the proposed site, more noise, more light polution, flooding, disturbance of our federally protected wetlands, etc. and etc. Wal Mart is not wanted in this location. I want them to find a more suitable place to build, and only then will I frequent ANY Wal Mart store. If Sam Walton were alive, he would be ashamed of his greedy kids.
