    Comments: I am extremely concerned of how many of our trees have been cut down in this area just so we can have another shopping center or office building. We need to stop cutting down our trees and preserve some of the nature that is around us. We owe this to our children and their children. We already have a Wal-Mart on 1960 which is almost new and is about 15 min. from this area. The children at the school are also being put in some danger with all that added traffic it will cause. I am strongly against this.

    Comments: I am a concerned citizen and would like to oppose the construction of another Wal-Mart so close to the elementary school when there is one already so close to this area on 1960. I want our children to be safe when walking in and out of school. I don't want them taking a chance at being injured with all the added traffic this will cause around the school. There are plenty of other areas where this can be built. What about on the other side of Beltway 8 closer to non residental areas I altoghether oppose of so many trees being cut down just so we can have another place to shop. We already have so many empty buildings that are unused. For example some of the KMart and Albertson buildings. Why not use the area these buildings are in and rebuild Please think about it.

I would rather drive a little further to the Supercenter at 1960 and Eldridge than to have a closer Wal-Mart that could possible place children in danger. I oppose building a Wal-Mart on West Road across from an elementary school.

    Comments: I cycle in mornings right past willow lake and use the west road thoroughfare frequently. I see rabbits and natural habitats early in the morning and fresh cool air. Pollution and traffic and would increase immeasurably with a Wall Mart as well as the whole neighborhood having its habitat altered forever. I recognise the need for supermarkets, but I see no need to have it here with all the other stores already available. We need to keep our natural surroundings as well as limit pollution and traffic in this local residential neighborhood. I am opposed to the building of Wallmart or any edifice right here in my neighborhood

I oppose the building of a Wal-Mart in the proposed location and will make it a point to discontinue shopping at any Wal-Mart as a matter of principle if building plans continue in this location.
