Comments: I'm all about finding a viable business, perhaps a gas station or a grocery store, but a used car lot is undesired and certainly will not stay in business, as it is not the propper market.

Comments: This is bad for the neighborhood and bad for the schools; it makes no sense in terms of community goals for livability.

Comments: A new/used car lot is an inappropriate match for this neighborhood. A better use would be retail, grocery, or other pedestrian/neighborhood friendly establishment.

Comments: This car lot is not necessary to go her. There isn't a large comerical area in this section of town. This is a small residential area and it should stay this way. A used car lot should be place around the warehouse area on East St. and further down Chapel into Fair Haven where this is plenty of used space down there and further away from schools and parks.

Comments: A google search yeilds at least 20 used car dealerships located in the New Haven area. Why must their be another. Shouldn't the American public in an effort to revive the economy they destroyed by using credit cards and do their part to re-invest in the American market BUY A NEW AMERICAN CAR!

Comments: Wooster square is what inspired my move from Guilford to New Haven...It is full of wonderful history and architecture, and has an old fashioned neighborhood look and feel. The green is also one of the prettiest in the state. Please don't ruin it with an eyesore like a used car lot. There are surely more appropriate places for that.

Comments: Andy, not sure what I signed at your house is the same as this, but am signing the e-petition just in case it is different. Thank you for your generous work in rounding up the herds and keeping us informed. It was nice to see neighbors at your home and I love the name of the group. Best, Carmen

Comments: I am signing this petition in opposition to the current proposed use for a used car lot at 10 Olive Street and in support of a better commercial use that is suitable and appealing for the surrounding residential neighborhood of Wooster Square.
