Name: Colin Suttie on Mar 17, 2010Comments: We are very much against this turbine in a residential area. Why not build it further down into the industrial area so it is no where near a residential area. Our property looks right out on to this area (32 BRAEMAR GARDENS), so have concerns of increase noise, health issues, shadows from the turbine. If I had know this over a year ago I would not have bought a house in this area. Turbine have a place but not in a residential area.Flag

Name: Brian McSkimming on Mar 18, 2010Comments: If its not enough to have a monstrosity for an extension to the Adam Smith college a wind turbine 121m high is totally ridiculous and out of place in a residential area. I am all for green energy, however not in my front garden. I strongly object to the proposalFlag

Name: Doug Meiklejohn on Mar 20, 2010Comments: this construction benifits no one except Bosch Rexroth Residents adjacent to this industrial estate are already subject to some noise pollution both day and night. If consent was granted it would set a precedent for other companys to follow suit and, could turn Glenrothes, a pleasent semi-rural town into nothing more than a wind farm. Fife Council if they are genuinely committed to looking after the intrests of the residents/constituents in and around Glenrothes should refuse this planning application.Flag
