Comments: I think the idea of a four day work week has merit however, it should be implemented delicately with a lot of thought before hand as to how EVERYBODY will be affected. Also, in light of Quebec's proposed reforms, who's responsibilty is it to come up with and enforce a plan Government, the businesses, the individual workers There is much to consider before jumping into a four day work habit.

Comments: We need to close the vacation gap between the United States and Europe! More free time means more opportunites to laugh with friends, help our children, take short vacations, and become who we really are. A four-day work week would also, by the way, help cut air pollution.

Comments: This should definately become mandatory. Everyone should be rewarded for working so hard, and paying heavy taxes. 'Work to live not live to work'. Spend your hard earned days with the ones you love. Give everyone an extra day at home. PLEASE!

Comments: I agree with this four day work week, because it is true. Two days are just NOT ENOUGH! Many of us are going nuts and losing too much time with our family just because we have no TIME to do what we would like to do. Every day something is expected from us, and one days of releaving stress, sleeping, spending time with our family is just not there.

Comments: I think that having an extra day would be great but realistically speaking, the odds of something like this changing are very slim. Society has modified themselves to follow this routine and it seems impossible to change.

Comments: I stumbled across your website while preparing a Taostmaster speech promoting the 4-day work week. I've done it for seven years in Des Moines at WHO-TV and it's wonderful. It allows me to help my wife homeschool our kids on Monday, It takes off about one hour of drive time to and from work every week and the three day weekends allow us to escape to Omaha or Kansas City, or Minneapolis, especially in Summer. WHO-TV gets me for four hours a week, 7am - 6pm with an hour off for lunch. I get a lot done in the first and last hour of the day when no one else is around. Good luck!

Comments: I think 4 10`s would work better for everyone. Think of 20% less traffic everyday. Less gas used. Less road work. Less polution. Help young familys with cost of child care. I have many more reason also.
