Comments: My concern is that Cobb County has not kept the taxpayers of this community abreast throughout the process. We have every right to oppose this project that does not benefit our community at large. The county commissioners have obligation to do what’s right for their constituents. This is just horrendous. It's way out of line. We've done enough for this community. They can put this somewhere else. This literally is in our backyard.

Comments: Please vote "NO" to allowing BTS to accept municipal trash. With the economy finally starting to show some signs of improvement, we need to continue improving our community and the surrounding area. This is a step backwards and will affect the value and desirability of our homes and communities. Please vote "NO"!!

Comments: I am a resident of a community on Oakdale Road, Enclave at Oakdale. Our community's house values have declined sharply in the last few years and it will take much longer for us all to recover. Allowing household garbage to be disposed of so close to our neighborhood and surrounding neighborhoods can only hurt our already declined house values. Who wants to move their kids near a garbage dump? For those of us who already live here and cannot sell our homes without substantial financial impact. Once prospective buyers know they might be living near a dump, they surely will purchase elsewhere. We already are impacted by low ranking schools, don't add insult to injury by allowing this to occur. I urge you to reject this settlement offer. Thank you. Nancy Mayette

Comments: You rejected this garbage and now you think it's ok to accept it? NOT! You were right to turn them down and should not allow it! Why would you accept this?

Comments: South Cobb does not need more industrial operations including a transfer station. South Cobb needs new residential and commercial development, jobs, and growth. Maybe the Cobb County Commission can evaluate putting the solid waste transfer station in East Cobb???????

Comments: I dont understand why we are going thru this again it is quit clear that the citizens in the area DONT WANT this transfer station. I urge the commissioners to VOTE NO again. Failing to listen to the constituents will result in heavy fall out on election day especially for recently elected commissioners.
