Comments: Not only is it disgraceful that we will be earning significantly less than our English counterparts; new trainees appointed this year will be paid more than experienced trainess because they will go straight onto the scale. It makes no sense and is totally unfair!

Comments: We have worked for three years under A4C conditions therefore we should be placed on the full pay scale in line with trainees in England.

Comments: I believe that it is wrong for people doing the same job in the United Kingdom to be on unequal payscales. Clinical psychologists provide an important service to the community, and their pay should reflect this.

Comments: This whole process has been a farce from the start so it's hardly surprising that it's not going to have a good outcome for us. Frankly this together with frequent comments from qualified staff about how our profession is "completely fucked" (actual quote) is starting to make me bitterly regret investing so many years of my life in trying to become a clinical psychologist. Maybe we all need some CBT to help us reframe this latest disappointment in a more positive light!! Someone could also do a major research project on the effect of AFC & being a trainee on mental health
