NO TO TESCO IN ASCOT

14 Signatures Goal: 100

We do not want or need any more tesco’s anywhere!

Let alone our local high street where we have everything we need anyway. We need to be spending our money in local businesses buying local produce, supporting the small family run shops which tesco’s would completely eliminate in a matter of weeks! The congestion would be horrific with massive tesco Lorries offloading food FOUR times a day! As there is nowhere to park they would simply block the entire road causing major traffic issues. As we all know, the parking in Ascot high street isn’t generous so where are the hundreds of cars going to park? if tesco opens in ascot high street, they will shut down ALL of the local stores including; C.E. Lewis the butchers, Martins post office and shop, Anne Maries the bakers, Wine rack and not forgetting the smaller and appreciated Budgens who cannot compete with tesco’s cheap substandard food prices. Once they have shut all of these family businesses down, who is going to want to buy or rent their shops? NO ONE which is when tesco will further expand and before we know it they have taken over ascot like hundreds of other small Villages.

PLEASE SEND THIS LINK TO AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE IF YOU DONT WANT TO SEE ASCOT AS WE KNOW IT DEGRADE AND DISAPPEAR   !!!!!!
