Most of us get two days off work a week, Saturday and Sunday. Building and renovation firms commonly have their workers working on a Saturday morning, often starting at 8am, thereby ruining your chance of a wee sleep-in and generally ruining the rest of your day with hammering, drilling, etc. This is unsociable and should be considered as unacceptable noise pollution. If we don't let them know we object to Saturday work it will be Sunday's next.
