Petition against Hooters in Cardiff - Say no to sexism in our city
- We, the undersigned object to the establishment of Hooters bar and restaurant in Mary Ann Street in Cardiff.
- We believe Hooters expects its female employees to be displayed as sexual objects for men’s enjoyment. This is not consistent with the image of a modern, diverse and inclusive city.
-We are concerned that such an establishment may increase incidences of sexual harassment for the women of our city and put the children and young people who use the facilities close by at risk.
