Get First Great Western to remove the word "Great"

We the undersigned would urge the relevant parties to have the word "Great" removed from First Great Western's name. According to the Oxford English Dictionary the word "great" means "of ability, quality, or eminence considerably above the average." Whilst irony is of course a most wonderful thing we would strongly argue their name is currently wholly inappropriate and that it is misleading to the public who may mistakenly expect a great service.

7 years ago Comments: I pay an extautionate amount to suffer at the hands of F(G)W every single day. My company lose man hours because staff are stuck and delayed. I've injured myself several times, as have others, crammed into doorways with nothing to hold on to when trains slam their breaks on. FGW services are over-priced, dangerous, unreliable and unpleasant. They should have their franchise revoked.
