NO STAFF LEFT BEHIND! Dear Chancellor Reed and CSU Trustees: We, the employees of California State University San Marcos, are writing to express our discontent at the announcement of CSU compensation for managers, executives and bargaining unit employees. Executives: 11.8% Managers: 6.75% Faculty: 6.2% CSUEU Staff: 2.7% You say \"It is the talented and skilled employees of the CSU who deliver the quality programs and services students need to earn their degrees.\" The truth is that we are the \"Cinderella\'s of the CSU\" doing all the dirty work while everyone else goes to the ball. Your bargaining team knocked our pay raise down from 3.7% GSI to 2.7% GSI when we are not even keeping up with inflation. We don\'t get housing allowances, car allowances, entertainment allowances - we just pay our bills and support our families with our plain old state employee salaries. Shame on you! Where is your sense of fairness It\'s bad enough that 1% for a president is $2000 and 1% for an average secretary is $40, why multiply the inequity Pay us what we deserve! Sincerely, YOUR HARD-WORKING STAFF WORK FORCE
