Name: Doreen Roberts on Jun 1, 2006Comments: I was raised in the Valley for a large part of my life. The reason I love the South Hill is because of its chararacter and charm. I feel this would be tremendously compromised if a Wal-Mart were to be put in, right at the end of my block. The newest construction of the Pond at Regal with Twigs, is such a nice addition. Wal-Mart would just about completely eclipse the charm of this type of development, and others like them.Flag

Name: Anonymous on Jun 3, 2006Comments: Negative impact on small business's. Mal-mart has no business ethics. Like many of their other stores, they introduce low prices then when they have your business, they raise prices up. So where are the savings %$&^% They have insufficient data regarding traffic flow. We already have several Wal-Marts, we don't need another!!!! I think it is about time to let other business's flourish.Flag

Name: Donna MacDowell on Jun 23, 2006Comments: Please add my name to this petition. This is a MOST inappropriate place to consider a WalMart! Besides the wetlands and drainage for all the housing around it this area is MUCH too condensed now. The other businesses would lose as well as residents.Flag

Name: Graham Olson on Jun 27, 2006Comments: My family has witnessed first hand the magical powers of Wal-Mart in action over our government and the laws of our country. They are truely above the law and import more than just China's manufactured goods. I feel that they are importing Communism into our country and now have destroyed our natural wet lands to build another store. Near Nature-Near Perfect are just words like justice for all with no meaning or true substance to our local and state government officals. Just like the words of Mr. Lee Scott they are lies lacking in ethics. As a former Wal-Mart customer I have witnessed every one of Sam Walton's values on their global ethics office web site be broken over the past three years. Truely Wal-Mart is above the law in Washington state. God Bless your efforts to stop Wal-Mart from destroying our neighborhood and our constitutional rights in America.Flag

Name: Rebecca Edwards on Jun 28, 2006Comments: This is my home and it breaks my heart to see it destroyed and how dare you bring your bulldosers and your fancy trucks and knowing good and well we do not want our beautiful lands destroyed It is disturbring to us all . that you think you can JUST WALK ON IN OUR TOWN just so you can put more money in your greedy pockets and you don't even care about those your hurting. You just step all over those that have more rights to this land then you can ever imagin .You and your selfishness and disrespect has allready destroyed acers apond acres of beautiful land just so you can be rich off of something you don't have any right to even step a foot on. So pack your trucks and everything else you own and leave without destroying what we call home and that means every inch of it from our wetlands to our praires and forest. you are not welcome here and if you are a resident here then what happened to all your morruls and standerds, how dare you sale you'r own ancestors land a place where you and your family and thier families grew up.So just to let you know we do not want a wal-mart any where in our part of town.
